at The Overtime Theater
On April 25th, beginning at noon, John Poole will be performing 12 straight hours of Improv Comedy at the Overtime Theater in San Antonio, Texas.No, he isn’t crazy, and yes, he may wind up that way. With the help of the funniest people in San Antonio, John plans to make San Antonio history and prove this City’s status as the capital of Improv!

2:00-3:00 THE ROGER ROGERS SHOW! Meet the host with “YOU ABILITY,” Roger Rogers! Once a Life Coach Trainer Counselor, he now has his own talk show. You pick the guests, topic and the commercials! Also, this hour marks the premiere of the Improv Soap Opera – Episode 1. (The Improv Soap Opera will happen during the last 10 minutes of every hour.)
3:00-4:00 Henrich Hoffman’s Hospital for Really Bad Children: A scary-not-scary show for older kids and weird adults! Episode 2 – Improv Soap Opera.
4:00-6:00 The John Show – Mad Movie!! Celebrate all things Flicky with John and his friends as they redub old, bad movies, improv around them, and make a new one! Episode 3 – Improv Soap Opera.
6:00-7:30 A Special Guest! Plus Episode 4 – Improv Soap Opera.
7:30-9:00 Comedy Sportz! Witness the family-friendly comedy spectacular that made John the Bizarre Freak-O-Nature that he is. With two teams of Act-eletes, a brown paper bag, and a guy in stripes, you can’t go wrong! At 8:50 pm: Episode 5 – Improv Soap Opera.
9:00-10:00 The John Show! John plays his favorite Improv games with San Antonio artists, musicians and actors. Episode 6 – Improv Soap Opera.
10:00-11:00
The Denials! Jason Boyson and the Gang take
over as San Antonio’s most Innovative Improv experience gets ready to
take John into the promised land! Episode 7 – Improv Soap Opera.
11:00-12:05 The Denials! Again!
And
at 11:15 pm: Episode
8 – Improv Soap Opera: The Final Chapter.
Prices vary per hour of the 12-hour marathon. The last 2 shows (10 pm - midnight)
are $15 per person. An EMT will be on hand at that time in case of emergency!!
All 12 hours of the Improv Comedy Marathon will take place at The Overtime
Theater, 1216 West Avenue (corner of West and Olmos), San Antonio, TX 78201.

Founder and President Laurie Wallmark has launched this blog to "foster in-depth discussions about public policy. Whether it's advocacy for LGBT-friendly legislation, debates about upcoming elections, analyses of new reports, or calls to action, you'll read about it on our blog."
Vice-President Xan Nowakowski, a political science major out of Columbia University and a public policy professional, will be the primary blogger.
